The route starts at the Parc Montjuïc stop, from where the cable car goes directly to Montjuïc Castle, with no stops in between. The return journey includes an optional stop at the Mirador de l’Alcalde or Mayor's viewpoint and ends at Parc Montjuïc. Once you get off the cable car, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the hill’s most popular attractions, such as: 1) Palau Nacional, which is the home of the National Art Museum of Catalonia; 2) the Botanical Gardens where you can romp around serene nature and feel one with it; 3) the Montjuïc Cemetery, where many of the country's writers, artists, and politicians are buried.
