The Cosquer cave experience is located on Basement Level 2, in the 'Beneath the Sea' section, and is accessible only by elevator. The tour lasts approximately 35 minutes. Starting from the underwater-themed station, small groups of six set off to explore a faithful replica of the Cosquer Cave, designed to closely mirror the atmosphere of the original. Visitors travel through the 1,750-square-metre space aboard comfortable exploration vehicles. Throughout the journey, an audio guide provides fascinating insights into the lives of Homo sapiens who inhabited the cave around 30,000 years ago.
