With a maximum of six guests at our Discovery Bay studio, your instructor can guide your hands and answer your questions. No experience needed.
You will learn how to keep a starter alive, mix your own dough, stretch and fold, read dough by feel and see bulk fermentation at different stages. Then you shape and score a properly fermented loaf and bake it in class, with coffee, tea and fresh-baked samples.
You take home your baked loaf, your own dough to cold-proof overnight with a simple home baking plan, a jar of our starter with a care guide and a recipe sheet. Taught in English. Children aged 7 and over are welcome.
