About this experience
Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven is one of the world's largest religious building complexes, enclosed by two layers of walls and divided into inner and outer坛 (altar) areas. The main buildings are in the inner altar, with the Circular Mound Altar in the south and the Prayer Hall Altar in the north. The two altars are on the same north-south axis, separated by a wall. The main buildings in the Circular Mound Altar include the Circular Mound Altar, the Imperial Vault of Heaven, etc. The main buildings in the Prayer Hall Altar include the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Hall of Imperial Zenith, and the Prayer Hall Gate, etc. Prince Gong's Mansion: Prince Gong's Mansion is located on Qianhai West Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. It is one of the most well-preserved royal mansion complexes in China, divided into two parts: the residence and the garden, with the residence in the front and the garden in the back. The mansion covers an area of approximately 31,000 square meters and is divided into central, eastern, and western sections, consisting of multiple courtyard complexes connected by a strict axis. The residence is not only large but also built to a high standard, as evidenced by the gatehouse and the number of rooms. Shichahai: Shichahai is located in the northwest corner of Beijing's inner city, including the three water areas of Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai (also known as Jishuitan) and adjacent areas. It echoes the "Former Three Seas" and is commonly known as the "Later Three Seas." The Hutongs and courtyards of Shichahai constitute the folk culture of old Beijing and the history of old Beijing. Along the winding riverbanks of Shichahai, irregular but densely woven network-like Hutongs have formed, built according to the terrain and naturally created. Beihai Park: Beihai is located northwest of the Forbidden City in Beijing, bordering Jingshan to the east and Shichahai to the north. It is an imperial garden that was gradually built during the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. With a history of 900 years, it is one of the oldest, most complete, comprehensive, and representative royal gardens in China. Beihai, along with Zhonghai and Nanhai to its south, were important royal gardens within the ancient imperial city, collectively known as the West Garden at the time because they were located west of the Forbidden City. ## Morning Departure * Itinerary: Temple of Heaven - Beihai Park - Shichahai - Prince Gong's Mansion ## Afternoon Departure (Night Tour Available) * Itinerary: Temple of Heaven - Prince Gong's Mansion - Beihai Park - Shichahai
