🏯 World Heritage Changdeok Palace Tour: The Soul of the Joseon Dynasty
Changdeokgung Palace was built in 1405 by King Taejong, the third king of the Joseon Dynasty, as a secondary palace.
Later, it was destroyed during the Japanese invasions of Korea and rebuilt in 1611. Connected with Changgyeonggung, it became Changdeokgung, and until the reconstruction of Gyeongbokgung in the 5th year of King Gojong’s reign (1868), it served as the main palace for over 250 years. Let’s take a walk through the palace most beloved by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty.
