The workshop opens with a short storytelling segment set in colonial-era Singapore, where jewellery marked important occasions.
Design Process: Participants are introduced to the gemstone beads and earring styles used in Peranakan designs.
Hands-On Crafting: Participant can learn how to wire-wrap using jewellery pliers to make their earrings.
