Ler Hock Chuan is an established Singapore-based contemporary artist with over 35 years of experience, working primarily in acrylics and watercolour.
Known for his bold, modern style, Ler draws inspiration from architecture and human interaction, creating vibrant works that capture a strong sense of movement and energy. His watercolour paintings offer lively and refreshing renditions of Singaporean landscapes. Last year, he held his fourth solo exhibition, Romance, and recently won a top prize in the Singapore Art Society Dr Tan Tsze Chor Art Award for Western Painting. Through this watercolour painting workshop, participants will learn Ler’s unique watercolour style, gain new insights, experiment with creative techniques, and deepen their appreciation for visual expression
