About this experience

This class is the only one in Japan where you can learn Swordsmanship and Traditional Japanese Horseback Archery from true masters of both disciplines. During this experience, you will receive a lecture on Japanese swords, learn KATA (slashing forms), practice sparring, and try out bows and arrows, as well as try slashing with a mock sword. About 1000 years ago, the main weapon of the samurai was the bow. 450 years ago, the matchlock gun became more powerful, and 400 years ago, when the civil war ended, the main weapon became the sword. You can learn swordsmanship and archery from a master, and even hold an antique matchlock gun in your hands. 【We will provide training wear, so please let us know the height and weight of all participants.】 【This class is a shared class. 】
