It also features a digital timeline on a touch panel display and a map that lets you see at a glance the locations and dates of famous ruins that color the history of the ancient Orient! You can learn history in a fun way.

More than 30 models of the cityscape of Uruk and the palace of Persepolis that have been produced by the Museum of the Ancient Orient will be exhibited in one place, and together with actual materials from the museum's collection, the museum will provide a bird's-eye view of the history of buildings (including not only residences but also tombs and production ruins) and town planning (urban planning) in the ancient Orient, the world's oldest civilization.
Events related to the special exhibition are also planned, including gallery talks discussing the highlights of the exhibition, lectures, and workshops. Night at the Museum will be held on July 24th (Friday) and August 28th (Friday). The museum will be open until 20:00, which is longer than usual (last entry is 19:30).
