After enjoying a tasty bánh mì and Vietnamese coffee, we head by private car to the bustling Thieves Market, perfect for capturing its maze of lively alleyways, before visiting a unique retirees’ ping pong club. In summer, the journey continues to Cu Da Village, one of the best-preserved craft villages near Hanoi, known for its traditional vermicelli noodles.
